Having checked the options codes on previous posts, I now have the descriptions for 23 of the 25 on my pride & joy. I am stuck with a couple apparently fitted on my car - anyone know what options 502 and 584 are?

Thanks in hope...

ORIGINAL: Tool Pants

You have the very rare X53 option.

Ok I gotta know.... what is the X53 option. I know the X51 is power upgrade (I think), but is it possible that the X53 option in an 8 disc CD holder ????? [:D]

Yep - I have now found that the X53 is the Console CD Storage for 8 Discs, but I haven't got that option!

I think that 584 for the Boxster is the rear storage compartment - I've got one of those, so that's solved.

502 means that it was made in Finland. Never understood why the place of production shows as an option code.

Thanks TP - the VIN number confirms that too. I now have the complete set!

All the goodies fitted to the car paled into insignificance today; the first top-down drive of the year in the british springtime weather. BIG SMILE ON FACE!
