Options codes

Hi all,

I have downloaded and printed out the options codes list from this site but there are a couple that are eluding me:

Taken from the sticker under the bonnet -

X47
X58
987
09991

can anyone help with these as all the others I managed to decipher

Also, if the car (a 2000 C2) does not have the PSM button the I assume it has basic traction control?

I'm sure that there will be a few otehr questions on this car but I think thats it for now

Many thanks in advance

Thanks for the link but that site only recognises the last one (09991) which it says is "manufacture from the exclusive program" - anyone know what this means or what the otehr codes relate to?

I'm assuming basic traction control for now if no PSM button.

Guy

09991 usually means the customer has specified some exclusive options.

X47 - shifter in carbon/alu leather
X58 - handbrake in carbon/alu leather

Can't help with 987 though.

No PSM button = no PSM
No TC button = no TC

Richard, thanks for the help. I wasn't aware that you could get the vehicle without traction or PSM? Is this a bad move?

PSM was a £1000 option in 2000, so I guess that's why someone didn't tick that box! TC was dropped when PSM was released, so if it hasn't got PSM, I don't think there will be any form of traction control. Personally I find TC very useful on slippery surfaces - when pulling out of side turnings quickly, for example. If it's a daily driver then it may be higher on your priority list than if it's a weekend car.

I have the 09991 option on my VIL sticker, and to this date I still don't know what exclusive item I have in my car.
It's probably just a titanium seat retaining bolt or something.[;)]

hahaha, yes that would be about right. I couldn't see anything obviously "exclusive"

Thanks for the replies chaps, its much appreciated.

Just got to decide if I can live without TC / PSM and no sunroof!

For what its worth, my PSM light has never come on, and I don't hang about, although I don't boot it in the wet.

Certainly couldn't live without a sunroof.
