Now, anyone know where I can get a CDC-3 other than by spending a gazillion quid at Reading or bidding in Euros on eBay?

I was just browsing the Design911 web site, and they have the CDC3 Changes for £150, plus VAT presumably.

....... I miss having cruise control though........
John
What year is your car? If it is a facelift model with fly-by-wire throttle (e-gas to the Americans) then I think cruise control can be retro-fitted relatively easily. There are a few threads on this subject at www.renntech.org
Richard
If it's a 3.4 then it is a cable throttle, and the retrofit is complicated and expensive. 3.6 engines with electronic throttle can be retrofitted with cruise relatively cheaply. There is a Renntech thread on how to do it on a Boxster, and a chap from somewhere in the UK did a splendid write-up. Cost him about £90 in parts to do the cruise and OBC retrofit combined.
BTW, in Yorkshire it's probably e-by-gas!
I have done a bit of digging, and it looks like it would be possible to retrofit the cruise relatively easily. It involves fitting a new 4-lever switch stalk, connecting it up to the DME, instrument cluster, and fuse box, and then activating it with a PST2.
I have spoken to Tony, and he will work out what it costs, so you can decide if it's worth doing.

My 1998 C2 has option 014 which I found from the PET CD is 'Sports Package 996' so what does this consist of ?, the other options on the sticker decode as Sports Suspension, Sports Seats, TC, LSD, etc; but what does the 014 actually refer to, does anybody know ?
Thanks
