Well after a long test drive on Friday i am hooked, deposit paid and the wait till end of May to early June has begun.

The test drive finally got me and expunged any doubt as to weather or not to go ahead.

So i have ordered a 2.7 (more than enuff performance for me) in Atlas grey.
Following options:-

18" Boxster S wheels
Black leather heated sports seats with crests
Sports steering wheel
Wind deflector
Porsche stereo upgrade and 6 disc changer. Normal stereo sounded okish at 80 with the roof down so the upgrade should do me fine.
Xenons
Dealer is going to add wheel crests and mats at cost from the dealership (wouldnt budge on giving them free but ill keep at him come signing time)
And im having the designation removed (i like a nice smooth ass [:D])

Now if only i can hibernate till it arrives...........................................

Sounds a good spec, have you thought about factory collection?

Expensive I know, but a great experince, and you can build it into a holiday.

Having just recieved mine I can tell you it's well worth the wait. My car collection has included MG Midget, Pug GTI, MX5, SLK320 manual, Volvo v70 T5 and the 987S is without doubt the most fun on wheels I've ever had.

The only reason I could ever imagine selling it is if they bring out 300+ BHP version. Anything less would be pointless.

ordered my porsche 2.7 on 4.2.06 and expect it in may if im kucky!!! seems such a long wait which will get worse when the weather gets good.

Tell me about it.

Ive only just placed the order and im chomping at the bit already.

Damn if only i had a time machine...........
