OSF not braking

This evening I went over a manhole cover whilst braking and felt a bit of a clunk, thought maybe the tyre blew. Now the car feels as though its not braking on the drivers side wheel. NSF dips down when braking bit drivers side doesnt and it feels like jelly. I did a bit of stop and go testing and get the occasional nasty clunk and metal to metal rotational sound. Once driving it feels fine. Anyone experienced this? all I could check with a torch was the caliper and disc, cant see anything out of the ordinary.

Are you sure the clunk was not the abs cutting in on that wheel. Mine has done this under braking when one wheel is on a man hole cover due to the lower friction.

Let go of the wheel when braking, if it pulls to either side there's something wrong, if not it's normal. [;)]

nothing normal or common when I have issues with my cars. I took both front wheels off and could see nothing out of place except the little bracket for the stability lever not in place on the lower wishbone (now rectified) Ive done a little more testing and notice a clunk when releasing the brake coming from front drivers. More alarming is when the brakes are pumped on and off 3-4 times to slow the car to a stop by the 3rd 4th time there is a nasty grind almost as if something is out of place in the driveshaft or diff and feels as though something is getting caught. Other than that the car drives absolutely fine. Will get it up on a ramp tomorrow to see whats what.
