OT I know but whilst browsing I found the `Europipe` site and the 997 turbo LOUD exhaust.

A true work of art IMO.................

Actually I have just noticed another howler. If they are "Universal", how come there are gord knows how many 'model specific' types?

Looks like someone stole the turbos though [:D]

Well spotted [:-] I went to the link from the theread and the page came up.................

Still looks the b*ll*x though, pity its all hidden

Ah the art of the pipe bender. A skill far less appreciated now that they are hidden away. Think back to the intricate snakes nest on top of the Honda F1 cars of the late sixties. Or the finely crafted curves and twists of the manifold on a DFV.

Although I'm not a biker I am sure it is because you can still see what makes it go that makes bikes more interesting to look at than modern cars. How can yo get excited looking at a modern engine "...Wow! Look at the leatherette texture of this engine cover. The grain is so much finer than a BMW M3."

That is very twisty indeed, one must have a heck of a lot of patiennce to make one of those by hand []

However it doesn't fit on one of our cars.

But this one does, it's from one of the Rennlisters who's building a 3.0L 16v turbo

[8D]:p:p Nice!

I almost had to hate you but now that I realise it won't fit on Beaky I'm happy. It would be a bit of a sod if someone made one for UK 951's though.
