OUCH...NITROUS HURTS :(

Hi All :)

I bought a BIG Nitrous bottle this week (82 lbs of liquid gas)....for decanting into my 11 lb car bottle...

So today I thought lets check it....large bottle was upside down so big valve was at bottom...
Sundays are obviously not my brightest days as I thought...lets undo that valve for a second..just to make sure it works....

BAD mistake lol.....it worked fine....liquid gas spurted out at a phenomenal rate...straight across my wrist...OUCH....ETC...

Looked at my wrist after turning off valve...huge red cold burn...about an inch wide and around 3 inches long...

Next time will wear my Snap-On gloves that cover my wrists lol :)

You seem so at home with danger, Brett, can't understand why you were nervous about that super dragster you told me about!

Yes I am but that was a Rocket Car...thats a huge step above Top Fuel dragsters...400 mph plus for a standing quarter etc...in UNDER 3 seconds...thats not really a car lol...its insanity on wheels :)

Ok, here's the question.

I've done the visualisation and reckon I'd be ready for it after a small Jack Daniels or something.

I'm strapped in. What could go wrong?

Ok...lol...

You are strapped INTO A ROCKET ON WHEELS...

The wheels dont grip... they just get pushed along....

Then you hit a button....and it lights a ROCKET engine...running on Hydrogen Peroxide....like the space shuttle....BUT you are NOT fighting gravity like the shuttle....basically you are on a big roller skate...lol

The burn is controlled electronically....timed...say to 2.5 seconds...

In that 2.5 seconds you have accelerated from 0 to say 350 mph....and you are PRAYING that the timer CUTS OFF !!!!!!!!!

And dont forget to steer lol :)

Oh and then you are praying the chutes open :)
