I came into work for a couple of extra hours on Sunday (under much protest) and on the way home I managed to hit a kerb and shred both nearside tyres- just waiting for a call from Reading OPC for the cost to repair- hopefully only the tyres are damaged.

Sorry to hear of your senior moment [;)] but why don't you get your tyres from a tyre company, saving £100's over an OPC and get your wheels sorted by one of the many Chipsaway type outfits doing mobile on site wheel repairs

If you are not careful the OPC will have you down for 2 tyres at full retail, 2 new alloys at full retail and suspension alignment for good measure []

So far its 2 new wheels (front buckled, rear cracked), 2 new tyres, wheel alignment.
£1550 after club discount.

Insurance claim then [&o] or source the wheels and tyres yourself and wheel alignment at a specialist and probably cut the bill by £600
