Just a quick heads up to everyone that the closest thing to R18's own track day is rapidly approaching!

PCGB are taking over Oulton Park on 5th November.

Booking forms available from the Motorsport website or please ring Steve Kevlin or Paul Grainger on 01608 652911.

Always a good day, Team Mangetout will host the usual hospitality - champagne and Pirelli girls etc. [:D]

It's not so far for a day trip of you can wangle a day off!

If Jezza can't beat you at concours you need to give him his pride back by letting him strut his stuff in his GT3 on track!

I could take that personally ,Fred-then again,I suppose so could you-mind you ,I look after my tyres better.[:)]

Hi all,

I am interested in this - nice and close to me. Couple of questions.... 1. Do I need to get a helmet? 2. I have driven tracks in other cars over the years but not my own and not for a while! So as a novice is there any good advice in terms of track etiquette etc?

Cheers,
Andrew

Perfect opportunity for you.

Helmets can be hired for (approx) £10 for the day.

There will be a full briefing. Overtaking is by consent only on the straights.

The first session will be grouped and must follow a pace car with an instructor in it.

Expert instruction will be available for £25 per 20 mins or so.

Don't forget 20% discount if it is your first PCGB track day.

Zeb - words fail me; disappointed [&o]

Rob - inlaws silver wedding ! [;)]
tell me...exactly how brave should I be?? [:D][:D]

See you there. Oulton Park is a wonderful circuit, you will really enjoy it I'm sure.

The emphasis is very much on safety and enjoyment and there is always a good atmosphere.
