Oulton Park Gold Cup Tickets

In past years Oulton Park have offered free tickets to the PCGB for a Porsche parking area during the Gold Cup.

This year they have restricted tickets to cars that have been registered up to 1980.

Allan Crosby is working hard to negotiate with them to open up the offer but it may be that they stick hard and fast to this new rule.

Allan is still working on Oulton Park about the tickets, while he has had some applications for tickets, those of you that want tickets but haven't yet applied because your waiting to see if we can get them, do apply now so that Allan knows numbers, historically it's been difficult to get tickets and distribute them at short notice.

Very interested in Gold Cup at Oulton Park - how do we contact Alan to enquire about possible tickets, especially as mine is a pre-1980 Porky?

Hi James,

the contact details and more info are on page 14 of August's Porsche Post, although when it went to print it didn't mention the problems with the ticket availability.

Due to the new restrictions that Oulton Park have put in place a grand total of only 6 cars are elligible for the free tickets, Allan will be/has been in touch with those owners.

Today at Oulton Park, not only did I not qualify for a free ticket as previous years, but without the windscreen ticket given to those who did,you weren't allowed to progress to the normal parking area overlooking Cascades but had to park with the general public.
However,I refused to obey this instruction & blagged my way round to the usual spot where there was the huge number of 3 PCGB regional members including David Bolton, Carrera 3litre, Arfor Jones with his orange 911T & my 924S trackday car.

Looks like tomorrow will be the same-seems the end of the usual Regional meet.
