Oulton Park on Aug 27th...care to join me?

Looks like I might pop in during the afternoon - assuming my car is ready to pick up from 9m that day. I was set to pick it up tomorrow, but they've found a rather alarming fuel leak in the engine bay which could have seen the whole thing go up in flames. Waiting on a new fuel line from Germany, so if it arrives in time and they get it fitted, I'll pop along and say hi. Not sure it would be a good idea to put it on track given it will need running in, but it's very tempting given that the suspension has just been fully re-bushed with Powerflex and it has a new geo set up, it's got its track tyres on etc etc ................
We'll see ...........

It sounds like you are really missing the car Jamie. Lets home the 9M bill doesn't spoil the reunion party mate![] Nothing worse than having the car away from home for a long stretch. Even if you don't actually drive it, it's still nice to know that it's sat in the garage there ready and waiting for you![:-]
By the way Jamie, I contacted that guy with the seats, but he never got back to me?
Anyway, I'll hopefully see you next week.
Regards, Matt.
We'll see what happens re Oulton next Weds - no point in getting over excited about it at this point (I should have picked the damn car up about three weeks ago, so there's no guarantee it will be ready by Wednesday). I know what you mean, even if I can't use it, I just want to know it's back in my garage ! I'm bent over, ready and waiting for the bill from 9m - it will bring tears to the eyes !!!!!
Thanks for the very kind offer of a drive of your car - let's just see what the weather's doing first !!!!!
Hopefully see you then ...........
Jamie
