Booked for afternoon session at Oulton on Wed 27th Aug. Anyone coming along?

Calling on Kasbridge, Oldtimer, Jason,964RS, ChrisW and Ian Harvey perhaps? Would make a great warm up for the Oct RS day?[;)]

Regards, Matt.

how does someone get to be a passenger on one of these days... worked on carrera cup team but never been round a track

thankyou for the offer [:D]

i would have loved to take you up on the offer but i go on holiday on weds for a fortnight and don't get back till just after 27th bummer...

would still love to come some other time if offer is still there

Matt, I'm on holiday that week but my daughter is expecting, due on Saturday !

So I will have to get across to Cumbria at some time, but Oulton does get me across to the M6 side !!

The 1st October is also Easytrack ??

The October date is with Easytrack Chris. Shame you are away at the end of the month.

Looks like I'll have to change my forum name to Matt No Mates...[:(]

Oulton is such a lonely place...[:(][:D] [:D]

where abouts in yorkshire are you matt because my business partner keeps saying a silver 964 keeps flying past him from time to time in barnsley

Are you sure it's a 964 and not that silver GT3 with the tall guy driving it?[;)]

I will bob in and say hello next time I am passing. Are you from Barnsley pal or do you just work there?

we've had the tall lad with the silver gt mr hodgson for a couple of little jobs...

i live just over the hill from where we are in kirkby and the other lad lives in kendray

Matt, not lonely, lovely !

I'll be there --- one way or another !!

Maybe even on the 27th as well.

Matt/Chris,
Sorry will still be in London following That Petrol Emotion gig in London night before - probablty hung over as well - enjoy!!
Cheers,
Kevin.

Booked for October and I have just started to soften my daughter up for the 27th ... may just turn up on the day, but early enough to pay and go ??

Would bring her husband Nick, who is getting terrribly bored waiting.

Chris, I'll take it that your son inlaw has yet to be ''initiated'' into the family? ...the RS family that is! [:D] Glad to know you two have your priorities in order![;)]

You never know Chris, a few laps with your daughter may ''help'' her along so to speak?[;)]

Matt,
Looks like I might pop in during the afternoon - assuming my car is ready to pick up from 9m that day. I was set to pick it up tomorrow, but they've found a rather alarming fuel leak in the engine bay which could have seen the whole thing go up in flames. Waiting on a new fuel line from Germany, so if it arrives in time and they get it fitted, I'll pop along and say hi. Not sure it would be a good idea to put it on track given it will need running in, but it's very tempting given that the suspension has just been fully re-bushed with Powerflex and it has a new geo set up, it's got its track tyres on etc etc ................

We'll see ...........

Jamie

Do your best to come along Jamie and if the temptation to drive becomes too great, then you'll just have to drive my car for a few laps!...No worries!
It sounds like you are really missing the car Jamie. Lets home the 9M bill doesn't spoil the reunion party mate![;)] Nothing worse than having the car away from home for a long stretch. Even if you don't actually drive it, it's still nice to know that it's sat in the garage there ready and waiting for you![:-]

By the way Jamie, I contacted that guy with the seats, but he never got back to me?

Anyway, I'll hopefully see you next week.

Regards, Matt.

I'm surprised Justin didn't get back to you about the seats, he told me you'd been in touch. He supposedly already had a buyer via Steve Winter at Jaz, which I hadn't realised, and said you were next in line - surprised he didn't tell you that himself. Sadly his car has just been stolen anyway, so he's pretty gutted .......... the insurers really aren't playing ball and have offered about half what it's worth ........

We'll see what happens re Oulton next Weds - no point in getting over excited about it at this point (I should have picked the damn car up about three weeks ago, so there's no guarantee it will be ready by Wednesday). I know what you mean, even if I can't use it, I just want to know it's back in my garage ! I'm bent over, ready and waiting for the bill from 9m - it will bring tears to the eyes !!!!!

Thanks for the very kind offer of a drive of your car - let's just see what the weather's doing first !!!!!

Hopefully see you then ...........

Jamie

If I can sneak the afternoon off work [:D] (and the weathers kind!) I might try and get over to watch you! Did a Lotus day there a couple of months ago - and found out I am a very slow driver!! But got hooked on the noise and the smell of tyres!!
