To all Trackies .

How did the above weekend go . I got David's story . now let.s have the truth. Nice to hear young Mr Grant passed his driving test maybe his old man will let him take the speedster out . I think that's the only way we will see it this year.

Cheers Brian RO1

ALL present had a great day. slippy track in morning caused a few major prangs ie severly damaged GT3 !!!Afternoon track dried out and all hell let loose . Brilliant track day thanks to Raymond for org accom etc and have some good video footage to show at next meeting .[:)][:)]

I'll second that it was amazing- but a certain hefty GT3 owner was too feirt to go out on the damp ( not wet) track, perhaps a legacy from Knockhill tyres?
Big thanks to Ray B for the accom and garage arrangements.
Mike

PS didn't realise the Griff had bought a Walter Rohl blueprinted RS , some luck eh?

I think this has to be THE most surreal post yet.
Keep taking the tabs/ drink

For those who haven't had communication from Tim at Millenium Trackdays:

"Porsche Special Day! Thanks to all involved for a brilliant day at Oulton Park 27/3/04, although a wet and slippery start it didn't seem to dampen the enthusiasm of so many diehards who travelled from the highlands to those who made their way from southern counties. Track etiquette was great as usual especially from those cars whose cars were so very quick. (Not Mike then...[;)])
Special thanks to:
Colin 9M
Paul Howells
Melvin Spear
And the 'north of the border' enthusiasts who made so much effort to get here"

Shouldn't really rise to the bait, so I won't.
Yors slowly and carefully
Mike

Saving up for a fast blue and white car, you know the Walter Rhol edition.

Sorry did not see you guys I will have another look

Brian

Had another look saw you Gordon Scot Ricky as well sorry the eyesight is going it's an age thing good photos .

Brian as usual we were way too fast for the photographers as they had set there camera speed for the slower 964rs s !!!! ....great 2 days roll on april for the Spa/ Ring week

Don't know why there were no pics as everyone was out for a fair amount over the 2 days...usual kind of stuff...
Chris Hatcher blew a fuel pump
Stevie entertained the paddock by dismantling most of his car to replace coil packs at the back and a radiator at the front
I broke my radiator, then stevie bodged it
My gearstick went all floppy
My exhaust cracked open

On Saturday it started to rain and the track went like sheet ice for a brief period....we pretty much all hit the grass...and a lot of washers were required

think that about covers it....
I bought the "professional" CD of pics of my car from trackphoto.co.uk - think gordon did the same....
