We all had a great day BUT are gazebo display was so far way from the event proper that very few people came to see the effort we had made, which was VERY dissapointing.
Some pictures of what you missed to follow:

Well I can't advertise on this forum.[;)]
We have 20 of them! They were made by one of our members Karl Wells and sponsored by Aish Technologies the company he works for. I'm afraid that unfortunately the cost would be prohibitive for regions/registers to purchase! And I'm not sure the company would be interested in a production run.[:(]

Quite by chance Paul and I were wandering around and we heard that a cake was being cut! There were very few people watching as most were looking at the car auctions. We thought it was a pity that a 'main' event was virtually ignored - when surely it was the point of the whole day. We compared 'Classics at Sherborne Castle' to the day and felt that Sherborne came out best! A long way to go for that! As ever though R26 was well organised and looked good... cheers Geoff!

It was such a s shame that none of the parking went over the football field, it really did leave the regional displays out on a limb [:(]
By design or not I don't know but to leave that are with nothing on was a disater...

Even the line up of the 50years or Turbo display could have been better used there, having them side by side to be able to see the actual line up.
Great show though andpleasing to see a region doing a nice display- with the 3 allowed cars....[;)]

Yes we did cheat with 4. We also had 3 in the concour, 1 in the 50th courtyard lineup and 2 more in the register areas. So that was 3 more who wanted to be at the gazebo but rules are rules.[;)]

I agree, I was dissapointed that teh cake was cut during the auction. If it was me, I would have done the cake just before the start of the auction and then pass over to the auction after. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though ;)
