This weeks AutoExpress is carrying an article on page 43 claiming there is a new face lifted Gen 2 Boxster 2.9 & 3.4S

Power Up

Emissions Down

New LED running daytime running lights
Fresh bumpers
Updated tail lights
New Mirrors
Tweaked suspension with revised springs and dampers

Trouble is the details/stats given for the oily bits are identical to the original Gen 2 thus making the entire article a bit of a farce!

Anyone here know anything more about this face lifted Gen 2![&o]

Had to email AutoExpress and this is there reply :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Hi Robert,

Thanks for your note, and glad to hear your considering a Boxster S, it's a fantastic car. You're absolutely right about the identical specs. We First drove the facelifted 2nd-gen Boxster S back in February 2009. Unfortunately it's taken until now for Porsche to get the car on its UK press fleet "" which is why out first review of the car on UK roads is over a year behind the original first drive.

Hope this clears everything up,

All the best
