You can get kits of plastic eyelets (try an outdoor / camping shop). Easy to fit and using some soft cord (like paracord) to tie it down. Cheers,

I have a Coverzone 4 layer type have a look a EBAY. You have to look after it, one small hole its ruined as it just gets bigger. Also they do shrink as well in shape. I use Ratchet Straps to hold the cover down set of four about £15.00 The best type which I have is a Portable Garage not cheap however.

If you have either 991 or a 981 boxter you can get a free stormforce cover from cover zone. All you have to do is get your car to there Halesowen depot for a day as they need one of each to make patterns. Sounds good if you live near by

Hi Personally I would not recommend an outdoor full car cover from experience - unless for only short periods of time. Firstly they tend to move with the wind and this rubs against the paintwork eventually leaving scratches - unless your put a soft material layer underneath. Secondly it invites all sorts of vermin to nest in and around the car. On the two occasions after being covered over winter my car developed a faulty vario cam solenoid (expensive to fix !) and the prior a year a faulty coil pack. I think the dampness and moisture build up underneath caused the damage.

I've used Auto Storm AQUA made by Stanley [link=http://www.autopyjama.com/auto-storm-uk/]Stanley Covers[/link] with great success for a 944S2, 996 C4S and 993 C2 with no issues what so ever. I would pack them away in October and liberate in March. Hooked up the battery to a trickle charger and picked a couple of nice days in the period to turn over the engine (not start it) and push it about a bit to turn the tyres. Not sure this made any difference but appealed to my ODC! No scratches on the body......

Hi I have just seen your post regarding a car cover problem, I took some advice from a friend and bought some strong magnets from an internet website. enough to go round the car to keep the cover from blowing when windy, "small rare earth" stuck to the cover using sticky tape! onto the steel bodywork.[;)]
