Outdoor cover, recommendations?

If anyone can recommend, with reasons, a make of car cover I'd be grateful.

If you can, please also include a weblink to a retailer of the cover you are recommending so I know exactly which one you are talking about.

They seem to range in price from around £86 to over £200 and I know that, to a degree, you get what you pay for.

I do not want any cover which has Porsche badges, or similar, on it. I want the car to be incognito when under the cover!

I have used outdoor covers in the past.

I'm flumoxed by the lack of responses. Does no-one else use an outdoor car cover? Maybe this is in the wrong section of the site? Could it be moved to the car care section please? Thanks D

I bought a cover off a member on here for £25 which is light but strong-I believe it's a Clarke's brand so presumably ex Machinemart-& recently bought a Carband from Des via Porschshop at Chateau Impney at the special deal price that day which when I want to cover the trackday 924S will ensure that the main cover stays securely on the car in all weathers-sorry no pics.

Colin Thanks, this seems to be what you're referring to: http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cl-car-cover-med-pev Seems to be good value at £27. Too good perhaps? D

David, Probably, although I was told it was a heavy duty one-it is very good & has gussets in it (the very mention of that word gives me shivers,'specially double) but it has blown off in gusty winds hence the Carband-this will reduce flapping etc & minimise any damage to the cover in my humble opinion--it is after all protecting an e-bay £950 car. Regards, Colin.

I bought an outdoor cover from Specialised Covers for my 964 (version = Stormshield) http://www.specialisedcovers.com/outdoor-stormshield.html. Its a perfect fit and the quality is excellent. Not cheap though. Get what you pay for with these I think

+1 Just purchased and fitted for the first time so cannot comment on long term performance but first impressions are good. Heavy duty, looks / feels quality, fits well, secures well. Not cheap, but what is. CT
