Can anyone advise me on which is the best outdoor cover to buy, car is going to be stood for a while...

Thanks in advance ...

I am very satisfied with the large Half***s for about £30. Breatheable with 3 straps. My 996cab is underneath one right now.

Hi

I had a Covercraft external cover for my previous car and I found it very good, unfortunately I can't remember exactly which material it was. It was breathable so it kept condensation to a minimum and I used it inside as well.

If you are looking for durability and quality go for one from 'Classic additions' or 'Hamilton classic ltd'. They supply moltex breathable covers, soft lined.
Halfords are cheep and cheerful. We bought one from Halfords for our Westfield, it disintegrated in about 5 months. They replaced it and the replacement won't last much longer!
The service is good but quality of the product isn't unfortunately.

Any feedback on Coverzone covers?

I've picked one up second hand for my Boxster but have yet to use it. Feels a bit 'rough' to me & am worried about it marking the paint.

I've got a Coverzone Voyager I use on my 3.2 Carrera, but I only use it for inside. I haven't had any problems with it marking the paint, and the paint on the 3.2 is 2-pack, without a clear coat lacquer, so probably not as hard a surface as yours.
