Outdoor cover

I don't know whether you are used to using a car cover outdoors. Don't let the cover touch the top (bonnet) arteas of your car in windy weather as it will scratch the surface. Cover with an old sheet or towels.

The ones sold by Hamilton Group www.hamiltongrouponline.com it is the Moltex range are a far better quality than the Stormcovers product .They have a softer interior lining and are 5 ply .Like any product you put on your car it has to be clean before you cover it or you will get marks .A half hood cover is possible the best if being used every day as taking on and of a outdoor cover daily would be a faff.

I've not had a cover before so thanks for the advice this is my first Porsche and keen to make sure it stays in good order having waited 20 years for the kids to grow up.

Hi Jon

I have a friend in Colchester Essex who has a Porsche Approved Vision For Sale and it's never been used and he's

after £180 which is a bargain as new from Porsche dealership it was £300 and reason for Sale it will not fit his 996

Carrera 4S which he's just brought due to Sale of his 986 - 550 Spyder Edition and cover is still packaged and if need

posting you'll be looking at about £20 via royal mail. Jon if interested give me a call on Colchester 01206 865962 after

5pm or return email to cayman34@icloud.com

Yours sincerely Kevin.

I have a Covercraft Noah that I've found to be good. The Noah is a heavier and thicker material which is easier to take off/put on in breezy weather and has proved to be more cat proof!

Dealers have just knocked a hundred off the 981 ones this week on the website. Seems decent value now at 200 quid

Yes but an 981 vision will not fit a 986 - 987 Boxster as the 981 is a different design

but its a bargain if you own this style of Boxster and maybe a marketing tool as they

are bringing a vision out for the new 718 Boxster - Cayman models who know.
