Outdoorcar covers

Any recommendations for outdoor car cover suppliers please?
I have looked at the Porsche and
the club promotion covers but decided
against covering at all. After all a 992
is hopefull well made and should be okay through a winter. My problem is keeping the lithium battery charged with a cable in the road.Several times
asked "is it an electric car”

You have to be so careful with car covers especially with glass sliding roof, it scratches so easily.

I have the 992 Carrera S Cab & I got the official Porsche outdoor cover, works a treat even though its for the coupe, still fits like a glove, super fast to get on/ off

I know I'm a bit late to this thread, but I would go for a Classic Additions Ultimate Cover.

I have just got one for my 992 Turbo and its fantastic. Much thicker and softer than the Porsche OEM custom sized outdoor cover that I've got for my 991.2 and definitely more breathable.

It cost about the same as I bought it through the owners club, and delivery was within a couple of days.

Another factor that's worth bearing in mind is Porsche crest vs Porsche Owners Club Crest vs No Crest decision. The OEM outdoor cover looks great if you want to advertise that you have an expensive car underneath it, as does the Owners Club variant, although a little less prominently. I went with no crest as its even more discreet.

You can get the Classic Additions as a custom cover but that takes three to four weeks. I got a standard size L version and it fits the wide body 992 perfectly, and actually almost looks like custom sizing. Underbody straps are also included as is a security cord which means you can put a lock on, but this in my view is quite pointless as anyone wanting to steal the car could just cut around the strap mounts with a decent pair of scissors.

I hope these comments help you with your decision.

Best regards

Martin
