i'm guessing not, so could anyone tell me what year the oval dash started?

Dash is completely different. If you're asking because you're after the dash trim then check out the new price first.

the new price for the fag lighter is £36.38, and the vent trim is £193.

which is a bit to much.

Whoah! Just shows how much of a lottery OPC prices can be. Surprisingly cheap for some things, and eye-wateringly expensive for others.

(I've bought cars for less than the cost of that vent trim ... )

I love the look of the original dash, but alas mine is oval. I know this is nothing in particular to do with the thread but the older and more retro the better for me
