My first try at a poll, please could one of the admin correct it if it's wrong! [&o]

Scientifically corrected to allow for forum users being liable to lie about their age. [;)]

I wondered where this poll had gone [&:]

I'd just been searching down in page 3 and 4 trying to find it before I realised you'd stickied it [:D]

The really scary thing about this poll is each time i look at it it reminds me that I'm only just in the 40-49 bracket what with my 50th birthday coming up in March.... eeeek

Very intersting, I thought there'd be a huge spike around the 40-50 age, with the over fifties being second. Turns out it's a younger demographic than we've always expected.

I don't know how we use this info to tailor events to suit the ages? 944 meet at Tumbletots perhaps? [:D][:D]

I thought that the main age would be 40+ but then again the 944 is so reasonable to buy that it is a market for any age.

I agree with the main age being around 40 for 951's. I saved my money through high school and bought my first Porsche when I was 18. It was a guards red 1985.5 944NA for $4,500. I stumbled upon a guards red 1987 944 NA for $2,000, I couldnt resist so I bought that one as well. I sold the 1987 for a profit to a friend of mine so I was back down to one Porsche, and a few weeks later I was t boned in my 1985.5.

I saved my money and worked my butt off and I picked up a Silver 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S with 280rwhp for $9,000, the acceleration was violent compared to the 944 NA's I had. I sold that 951 to the same friend that bought the 1987 944NA for $9,500 and finally I bought the one I have now. Its a 1987 guards red 944 Turbo that is built for the track with a completely revised suspension and a autothority stage 2 chip set for $10,000.

I love 944's and I will drive one until there is no more gas on this green earth.

That's all right Peter. I don't consider you to be any older than me and I only consider myself about 27.
