Oxygen Sensor Part 2

My car went into the OPC on Tuesday and only got it back on Friday afternoon. It was the oxygen sensor and the OPC had to liase with Porsche HQ as they have not experienced this fault in a gen2 997 before.

After 2 days I asked for a courtesy car via Porsche Assistance and got a "premium" car - Vauxhall Insignia!!!! - Not a bad car but I had been advised that I would get a proper premium car.

My OPC service advisor was rather surprised to say the least. If there is a next time I will insist on a decent replacement.

I thought that the OPC is supposed to give you another Porsche. If my OPC hasn't got a Porsche courtesy car, they generally give me one of their demonstrators.

On another note, I gave a C350 in for a service on Wednesday (it was ready the same day) and was offered a C63 as a courtesy car till the end of the weekend. It must be said that it's an incredibly competent car.
