Anyone hear :ROFLMAO: heard or experienced the new Porsche Sports Exhaust system yet?

A friend of mine thinking of ordering it on his new 987 was advised by saleman it's not vastly different from standard set up and not really worth the £1000+ [&o]

Interesting to hear their opinion. I've been looking into this ever since i spec'd the car without the PSE when it was unavailable and depsite several people saying that its not retro-fittable, i know its not available unless spec'd from factory until March.

Here are some flicks i found on YouTube: -

Sample 1
Sample 2

You can distinctly tell the difference when the switch is enable and certainly sounds throatier. No performance change tho [:(]. IIRC, installation would bring the unit to some £1,700.

The salesman must be deaf as well as daft talking someone out of another £1000+ spend [:D] you can definitely hear the difference on those 2 sound bites

I'm trying to get the OPC let me have a spin with one installed but for the meantime, i'm running around happy with the exhaust mod for my sound needs [:D].

Will post back if i find anything more.
