Many thanks Richard []
@SYD911 Its not a bad price, but still a lot when you consider there probably paying about ÂŁ80 for those paddles.
They look like VW ones to me.
Once you have the paddles its just a case of wiring them to the existing thumb switches,so simple.
oh, and hello SYD911 []

Basically one of the reasons I never made and marketed a retro fit kit of this.
@ Syd911 if you do decide to have a go yourself just let us know if you need any help it really is about as easy as brushing you teeth.

Its going to take 5 minutes to finish putting the airbag back and reconnecting the battery.
Remember your going to be putting pressure on them all the time when you change up and down, and like i said that section is basically a rubberised foam.
Whatever vehicle those paddles are from they would normally be clipping into a hard plastic section, Putting them into a 996 wheel is like trying to fix them to a sponge!.
Have you asked how many cars they have done this mod too or is it just there test vehicle you mention, because i think your find you are there first! and I would tread carefully.
Of how they are attached on another forum and have spoken to them about it and I
am satisfied with the answers I got. As for being the first to have this done
Then I don't know but I've been told I'm not and have no reason to believe
Otherwise!
