Me-thinks you're a bit late asking all these questions now. I use Pagid pads when I go on a track day and they are great but there are a few grades to chose from. Your choice of pad might not match your expectations. I know the pads are a doddle to change, with the correct tools. Haven't tried changing the discs yet.

Pagid are part of the TMD friction group which includes Textar who make the original pads for Porsche. OEM discs have never been supplied by Pagid , however SEBRO , Brembo and one of the mainstream brake manufacturers who I cannot remember just now (not ATE or Lucas) are the only OEM suppliers. I have heard that Pagid discs can be lesser quality than sebro or brembo , though I've no confirmation of this. Best to budget for new brake wear sensors as well as the pads as removing the old ones from the original pads is very difficult without breaking them. Use pagid brake assembly lube or plastilube from your local VW dealer when re assembling to wipe the back face of the pad and piston. Dont use copper or aly paste , it's not designed for hi temps and dries out. Ideally you should also buy new caliper bolts and use loctite to secure them when re assembling. The discs have jacking screws to allow you to get the old disc off the hub if corrosion has set in.
