Paint code/ colour of intake grills

Hi all,
new guy here, with my first Porsche, 2008 3.4 Boxster S Sport Edition.
And with my first question, I have a few stone chips on the side intake grills, the car is Arctic Silver however the grills are darker silver, volcano grey has been mentioned on some sites.
Anyone know what colour they really are, and what paint code?.
Thanks all.
Phil.

Phil,
Forget the grey and get them painted Satin Black. I had grey ones on my white 2010 3.4 and had the painted black like the new 981. Was complimented on the result.
They just set-off the side view of the car. Worth a thought!
Enjoy your Porsche and welcome the club.
Regards
Dave

OK, I gave in!
The word is the side vents are Volcano Grey, same as the interior, but Porsche don't sell the paint?
So I took advice and painted them satin black, apologies to the purists.......

Looks like a good job and I think the darker colour sets off the side of the car better than the grey originals [:)]

Cheers Dave, a good call.
Think it goes well with the satin black side stripes I put on this morning.

Looks really good Phil, what paint did you use to paint the grills, did you get them out of the car easily?

Also where did you get the side stripes from - are they easy to fit as you say?

I may do the same with my car.

Thanks

Kev

The paint is Halfords own satin black, I looked on youtube to see how the grills come out, basically you push down from the top and and pull out. I painted them my self in the back garden!
The side stripes are from ebay, again I used youtube, and following the "water spray" method they went on quite easy.
