Paint code poser.

Hi All

I am trying to track down a paint code. I wonder if anyone can help please?

For the period 1978-80 Porsche had two colours listed both called Lind Green. One of them I know had the code L275, but I am not sure about the other. I am unsure whether there actually was another Lind Green, or if there was another explanation for why Porsche appeared to have two colours called the same thing. I have also been given a paint code of Y1Y1 for Lind Green.

I would simply assume that there was one Lind Green, but I have seen two similar colours for that period. One appears brighter than the other.

See below:

So, can anyone help me here? Are we talking about two different colours? Different light conditions maybe?

Any thoughts would be welcomed.

Never hear of Lind Green!
The paint codes from the 'Red Book' for those years are:

Apple Green 260
Oak Green Metallic 265
Fern Green 273
Olive Green 274
Light Geen Metallic 275

Yes, there are two lindgrun listed, Y1 Y1 POR 275 is a metallic, The brighter shade in your images.

The other is a Solid (None metallic) colour POR 275.

This is taken from the Glasurit paint code info chart, Glasurite have been the original paint supplier to Porsche since the start of production.
