PAINT CODE QUERY

Hi All I have a 2002 C4S in Guards Red and I need the paint code, the label under the Hood has been cleaned with something like TFR that has faded the info so that I cannot see it, and the Details in the Front of the Service Book have gone unless it's any place else I am stumped.
I would suppose being a solid colour there would be 'one' Code around 2002/03 for Guards Red, can any one please supply it. I have ordered my new rear wing and also getting the Turbo/C4S chin spoiler in PU

Spoiler from www.misha911.com

No problem [:D]
However as the car is a few years old the bodyshop will probably have to vary the colour slightly from the standard "new" shade to account for fading.
Where are you getting the work done?

I may have missread the
"Notes:
From MY02, the same colour code is used for water based paints and conventional paints.
Water-based paints (normal text) and Conventional paints (
bold text)"

bit... (From the RennTech article - I forgot you had it over here!).

Reading it again, I'm still not sure which one it means is the same colour code?

I'm not either. As they only use water based paints now, I guess they use the water based codes.

The other place to look for the paint code is in the front of the luggage compartment on the left side wall under the carpet lining.

Thanks for the Info............"Nods as good as a wink" on that page..... promise not to tell! I have a choice of two Companies one is a Friend of a colleague 'Terry' at 'Pride and Joy' Middlesbrough and the other that sounds a Tad more expensive [but may be the better choice] is a 'Preston Farm' Stockton who as you suggest would Digitaly match the colour.
I will post a picture when it's done.......Thanks again Both!
