Paint Code

Hi Chaps,

Can someone help me with this one.

I have no paint code sticker in the front of my car because at some point in the cars history
someone screwed something over that area. When it was removed the holes were taped over with duck tape.On removal of the tape the sticker came with it.[]'
I have been trying to source a sticker but can not find anyone that could supply it.
I have been told by Porsche paint shop that they are no longer available.

If perhaps someone would be so kind as to take a photo of there sticker and email it to me with the length and width, then maybe i could get one made.

The colour on my car is GP white.

Thanks Mark

I came across someone in Scandanavia who makes these BUT you will need to order a number of them to make it cost effective - unhelpfully, I don't know what that number would be but I suspect more than a couple!

You will also need a very good quality picture of an original one. You can still buy paint code stickers from Porsche, but these will have the black background i.e new type, not silver background.

I can make some enquiries if you wish......

Cheers,

My GP White car has the P5 P5 paint code sticker - albeit a little damaged on one edge.

If you find do someone who can get them printed to look totally authentic I would be happy to take a very clear hi-res photo of mine and send it to whoever is organising the print run - in return for a spare sticker for my car. [;)]

Thanks Chaps,

I will search for someone to make them, but i need a good photo of one as i only have the back of the one that i have got.[&o] Have searched on the internet and can not find picture of one.

Would anyone know if colour would be in language of country where car was first delivered.

If i can get one printed to a good quality, would be more than happy to get more produced.

and has a Porsche part number in the bottom left corner.

One for me too as above please also P5

Just costing things up Des. Ben can get them for around €35 per sticker. I have a man looking into it to see if we can do a very close reproduction for less. Bear with me these things take time.

Rick Cannell?

I've made progress with your P5 paint code stickers - finally found a material which is very close to the original and a way to get them printed cost effectively.

Mark, Des, Ben, Charles - could you please email me to let me know if you still want them and how many you need. Might be worth getting at least a couple in case you mess up installing them. When I have numbers I'll sort out a price.

Stickers now arrived from my supplier and they look great. Emails sent to everyone above and also Talat.
