I've searched, but can I find that thread with photo's of cars in all the colours?

Help.

Phil

Whoops, found it now - ignore this. How do I delete - there doesn't seem to be a delete button on this one?????

Don't delete it ~ post a link to the other thread and claim £5 for your public service activities.

Don't be too hard on it Fen, it has helped a couple of times. But, of course, that only makes it more frustrating when there's loads of colours there except the one you want!

Perhaps a summary of the 'wanted' list could be compiled and posted, maybe to the 924 register also; they may supply pics of some of the options. Which is actually what prompted my search - I was looking for Zermatt Silver for an enquiry going on over there.

Phil

Apparently mine is Zermatt Silver.
Cab. 1989.
Just had it re-sprayed.
where is the damn attach file button here ?

Kev.

I've just deleted all the off topic waffle that we put in there. Over the weekend I'll add the official codes to each colour pic (or I could just take a picture of my colour chart, but thats a bit boring comapared to actual cars [:D] )

Without the waffle that's now a useful and easy to read thread. Many thanks.

Phil

Is the LY7Y paint code for 1985 described as "cermatt" a typo as years before and after it is described as zermatt silver.

I ask as my '85 has that code and from pics I have seen of zermatt silver cars mine looks different from that. Do I have a short lived paint colour or is it in fact zermatt silver ?

Pic of my car below - does anyone know if this is Zermatt Silver or the mysterious "cermatt" (must be a typo surely ?)

Thats Zermatt Silver allright.
In the photo it looks a little lighter than mine, but then again I got mine resprayed less than a year ago so God only knows whats going on.
Drove Dublin, Clare, Donegal,Clare,Dublin at Christmas.
Wrecked now.
Suffolk, I love those wheels. Turbo Cup? What do they cost a corner in the UK? (It would be cheaper for me to drive over to buy them rather than get them posted).
Thanks,
Kev

I guess 21 years being exposed to the elements may well have faded my zermatt a tad !

Kevin - Can't recall exactly how much I paid for the wheels - I got them early summer last year - I have the invoice somewhere will look to dig it out maybe over the weekend if not sooner, rather than give a misleading guess.

Yes they are Cup 3 wheels - made by Milie Miglia who I believe have gone bust ?

Got them at a reduced price as they were one of the last two sets the vendor had (got them on ebay)
.

Found it !

The wheels were £595 for the set plus £25 postage. Checked the guys items on ebay presently and no sign of the other set still being for sale though may be worth contacting him ? I have a company name and phone number for him if you want it.

Had to add on tyres of course plus some new centres - and some better locking wheelnuts than I had before !
