paint correction / swirl marks

in case anyone else is interested, i recently had my 1997 C2S detailed by Elite detailing (www.elitedetailing.co.uk).

Have to admit, the job was absolutely fantastic, all the swirl marks removed and the car looks like (i imagine) it did at the showroom 10 years ago!

the job took a full two days and has left the car looking stunning - would thoroughly recommend to anyone who has similar swirl marks or wants the car looking "showroom" again... Job was so good I'll probably be using elite for top-up details (when required) to keep the car protected and looking good.

Not affiliated with elite in any way.

Understand, but i didn't trust myself to remove those marks without making them worse! :)

no need for pics but i'm sure elite will have some if anyone needs 'em.

my only problem is now i don't want to drive the beauty for fear of getting her dirty....

Have I missed something here, or has the cost been deleted?

Just interested as the dreaded "windscreen rust problem" is being sorted out and I might get a few other things looked at. After years of Zymol treatments, I still can't seem to get the swirls out.

Gurch does a great job. When you tot up the hours, skill, care, experience, his prices don't seem bad at all. Though i hope he's not reading this!

I would book him again.

The paint correction work that Elite Detailing does is a bargain, considering the cost of car mod's.

To get perfect paint, better than when it left the factory dare I say is the best way to show our cars.

Smooth swirl free paint is amazing and transforms any car that hasn't been sorted, I've had his treatment on my current 911 and only wish I had done it or rather known about it on my old 993.

The added benefit is that puklka wax he puts on keeps the car cleaner and makes it easy to clean for the next 6 months [:D]

Keep smiling chops !
