Some of you will be aware that I have been struggling to like the wheels on my recently purchased 997 turbo . Never liked them even when the model was introduced in '06 . Spotted this pic while trawling the net for all things Porsche . I think this looks a million times better - less fussy more modern . It's going to happen !!!

Or you could consider fitting the Tequipment Central Wheel Locking Retrofit kit and a set of 19"RS Spyder wheels. [8D]

Clive.

Agreed, I'm not crazy about those wheels either, and that is a simple cheap mod which should look good.

You could always mock that up using a bit of black Fablon (yes, sticky backed plastic, just like they used in Blue Peter!) which would be a quick and reversible way of seeing if you like it. I have often used this to black out bits of chrome trim I don't like. Give it a go!

Barry, like like like, thought they were different wheels for a momen there,

johns idea is a good one, just get some black insulating tape and tape them up and stand back, if you like it, get them etched and painted,

I just got my RS wheels redone, repolished and two pack gaurds red for the centres, so look completly stock, but havent had the polished bit laquered so will need constant polishing up, but fed up with lifting laquer,

cheers
