Paint v Vinyl - Centre Console Tunnel

Hi, I’m looking to freshen up my scratched centre console tunnel and was wondering what people’s views were on painting v wrapping? I guess both are options so keen to get a perspective.

I’ve bought and stripped a spare console to use so ready to go.
