Just had the whole of my car done ,as most of you know by now I have a new set of wheels a 2001 3.4 996 Carrera 4 Cab Gaytronic 22k mls and in Basalt black ,the main problem with all black cars is the fine scratches and swirls that it gets ,this is a paintless process where they apply a paint like substance and a cream and gently slow buff the paint work and the scratches dissapear it will not remove stone chips that is a job for the likes of Chips Away ,but it does get rid of those fine lines ,now the car looks great ,the chap is willing to come along to a meeeting and do a demo you can visit the web site www.ssreurope.com

you need to remove the last "odd" characters in the browser address bar (I tried editing to fix - but I couldn't get it to work either!)

Works for me.

Will be interesting to see how long it lasts, there have been other polishes on the market that will take the edge off the swirls and then fill them in.

Kitchens,

Is this permanent ?

I presume it would need to be waxed afterwards ?

How does waxing affect the work and how does the work affect the waxing process if at all ?

How do hey price out ?

jeff

I would think it is a permenant ,and you have to wax it to seal the paint lesss process as with any paint work, as to cost it would depend on the ammount of time required to do indivduals car and the ammount of scratches ..contact the guy direct on 0781 7905263
Paul Graham say you are Porsche club as he will adjust his rate

This is also known as a "Glaze". All it is basically doing is filling in the defects such as swirls and random scratches, it will eventually wear off, how quicky depends on how often you wash your car etc etc....

We (Polished Bliss) physically remove microns of paint (Measured by expensive paint gauges) to ensure these defects dont come back by carefull machine polishing, this is whats known as Detailing, more specialised work than Valeting :)

Have a look at there web site I would hardly call it valeting ..they remove skuff marks and scratches and while I appreciate the only way to remove swirls is to cut the paint work back or have it repainted I would not thing that process that they use would wash away .I have read a lot about detailing and the remarks made by the detailer Dave, Jack in the Box who gives free advice to all members who wish to do the job themselves and does not tout for work the opposite in his case and have seen his work it is very impresive I suppose time will tell if it works or not
