As for 3 of my previous cars, I returned for the 'Paintshield' team to protect my recently acquired 996 Turbo in Polar Silver and fitted with the factory aerokit; they've already covered the front end only of a 997 Carrera 4S, a 987 Boxster S, and my daughter's New Beetle Cabriolet. However, today I collected the Turbo which has been covered from top to toe and front to rear! In other words, it's fully protected.
I never cease to be amazed at the quality of all aspects of 'Paintshield': the customer care, paint protection film, computer aided design and cut of each piece of film and the installation. Tom Wakeford and his team are masters of their art - and I can do no more than recommend them unreservedly to all forum members. I will be attaching some pictures when I get the opportunity to take them; however, to be honest, they'll show you little as the film is transparent and the fit perfect - so that, unless you were shown or looked in great detail, you wouldn't be aware that it was protecting the car.
One piece of bad news - for me! Whilst driving the car to the 'Paintshield' HQ in Grantham, the bonnet suffered 2 chips - which I touched in before the car was covered. Unsightly though they are, they are a stark reminder of the benefits of paint protection film; had it been installed then I know that the damage would not have occured. As for cost, talk to Tom!
If you want to see the car and the film, I've offered to display the car on the 'Paintshield' stand at the Silverstone Classic over the period 25-27 July; and before anyone suggests otherwise, I'm doing it because I want to and because I am the satisfied customer that every business needs!
Yours,
Del
