Need a bit of paintwork doing.

Stone chips on the front plus some marks on the passenger door.

Anyone recommend someone in the North West area ?

Would like good value, but quality is the main consideration.

I know Kendal is the nearest OPC, but I would expect main dealer prices to be high.

Any idea's ?
 
The "Muddmeister": Andy and Paul Mudd in Bradford. They are brilliant: when you walk in they have plenty of fancy cars in and have restored a number of impact bumper 911 cars.

I used them on recommendation of three meticulous Porsche people and that is why he got my carrera 3 in. You are welcome to go over the car to inspect it in his workshop. The guards red 3.2 he did for OJ Thomas was p e r f e c t and no colour/hue/texture difference between panels.

Thanks for the info.

Bradford is a bit of a hike from Lancaster, anyone know someone nearer ?
 
Can't recommend anyone, but the best advice I can suggest is to do some leg work and go and visit/contact a few that you find local to you. See how you get on with them and if they have any older in their workshops or examples of stuff they have done. Some of the smaller outfits if chosen wisely can often offer higher quality at a lower cost. I've had two of my previous cars repainted and both where 1 man outfits operating out of small units. Interest and enthusiasm goes along way for me as to where I spend my money. I was really pleased with both outfits and both where pretty cheap.

He has done some truly outstanding work for me and others in the club, including a full ground up restoration of a 911S that won the National Contemporary Concours.

He's by no means the cheapest but his qualty of work is second to none. From experience I can tell you that if it cost you peanuts then that is what you will end up with.

I have no commercial connection with Graham whatsoever other than being a good friend.
 
If you go with opc you will also get lefetime warranty... May also be worth using the quote as a comparrison...
 

HB Panelcraft in Preston is the approved Porsche Bodyshop in this area.

They will, of course, do and excellent job - but at OPC prices too!
