Hi

Picked up my new beauty this morning but there was nobody available at the OPC to configure my balckberry8310 to the bluetooth of the PCM. I have tried to get pairing to work but it keeps failing.

Is there anything I can do or do I have to wait for the OPC technician to do it which means waiting for over a week as due to business commitments cannot get to the dealer this coming week.

Your help would be appreciated.

Pictures of my baby with several coats of Zymol Concourse should be available tomorrow.

Jonathan - we've all seen this issue - you need to get the OPC to configure the telephone module for HFP (Hands free profile) instead of SAP (SIM access profile) - then it will work a treat.

I'd heard this was the way forward and got them to do it during the prep of the car - takes a couple of mins apparently - they should ask I guess.... but that would be forward thinking customer service....

Yes, I had this issue too, and posted on it back in Aug when I got my car. Only the OPC can do it, but it works perfectly ; the OPC told me that it would not pick up the Crackberry's address book but it does.

As for my car, now 2000 miles in, all is perfect.
