Was lucky to get invited on a corporate day at Bedford Aerodrome to try the Motorsport sensation. If any of you get the cahnce it is absolutely awsome. A full day driving Mitsubishi Evo on a Special Stage,Renault Clio racers, Formula palmer Single Seaters, caterham 7, Palmer Jaguar "Le Mans" style car - 350bhp, no weight 0=60 3.2 secs. 160mph at ebd of staight befor (hard) dab on brakes before diving into left right combination FANTASTIC grip - am still smiling from the memory., Vauxhall VX turbo and a bit of 4x4 off roading. Well recomended

I went to palmer not long after he moved to the Autodrome in 2000 and have to say its the best and most professional of these days I've been to - and thats a few over the years....
Where most have low rev limiters and keep slowing you down, the instructors there seem happy to let you go as fast as you wish (I assume as long as they are happy). At the time I was there the cars were Audi S4 and TT, Integra type R (best of the bunch!), Caterham 7, Elise, Audi Palmer, Toyota 4x4 and Karting finished off with a two seater FPA run.
If they now have a loose surface stage then thats the icing on the cake.
Most fun you can have with your clothes on but definately better if someone else is paying.

Best quote of the day came from an instructor to one of the lads with us.
" Brake later........brake later........brake later.............NOT THAT LATE!
