I have been lucky enough to have been 7 times, the last time I took my son for his 18th and then I was there in my own car a few weeks back at the last EVO magazine track session of the year where you use the full GT circuit by joining the smaller ones you will use together. I have a nice collection of the trophies at home, only the overall one still eludes, was first equal last time on points. I know they are only plastic but its still nice winning.
I find the instructors pretty good, they push you to the max as opposed to using slowing down techniques or rev limits that you get on most other track days. The cars too are good, I love the Clio especially even though I have a 997 but havent yet driven the two Le Mans style two seater they have as that was upgraded recently which looks great. Now the single seater also has flappy paddle gearchanges that is great fun to, no instruction, just you and the track.
The only thing I have found better to do is private track days where you get cars plus track time such as RMA track days, book a track etc. We have been doing sessions in GT3RS and Radical SR3RS recently and I take my own out as well and that is perhaps the next level up.
You will however I am sure find Palmersport an amazing day.
Real slick running, maximum time behind the wheel, done it 3x corporate but as expensive as it is would happily pay to go.
last time i went I got my on board footage too, of the palmer jag single seater, two seater and BMW m3

Agreed, as everyone says a great day, my favourite was the M3 and again I've got some excellent footage, the instruction is very good and my bit of film clearly shows me getting quicker with every lap.
Go and enjoy.
Geoff
The added bonus of having Martin Brundle there all day and the great weather made this a day to remember.
