Panamera S 2010 Rear Door actuator failure.

Hi all,

I have a 2010 Panamera S, with the usual common issue of the rear door actuators failing. The doors open from the inside and then operate as normal until locked. The front passenger side opens and closes but does not lock so obviously this is an urgent issue.

I have a quote from Porsche for the actuator which is £183.

There is a patent part on Design 911 for £84 by CE Match Classic.

Does anyone have any experience with using patent parts on the actuators? As I have been told by my mechanic that they can often fit poorly.

Thanks in advance.

use the emergency key in the fob in the drivers door should lock them all If you haven’t tried that.
I’m Also having the same issue as you, bought a Panamera 4s a couple weeks ago. Rear actuator had failed So i purchased a cheap one on eBay for £45 with 5 years warranty! For the passenger rear door. seems to work perfectly fine. Now the front passenger won’t open from either the inside or outside im going to tackle it soon as the other actuator lands it’s going to be a pig of a job no doubt about that.
To top it off the drivers side door isn’t opening by the fob even with the locking setting on the cluster.
looks like I will be changing them all!
if your doors open your winning can have them panels off and back on in no time. seems like this is the Panamera’s weak spot!

Cheap ones work fine and they come with a fair warranty So worth a shot. ??
