Hi

I have a Panamera 4S , nearly 2 years old now , no major issues , except:

When the aircon is set to LO , ie coldest temp , the fan goes onto max , and you can't adjust the fan down to a slower speed.
My OPC have said thats the way it is , which seems daft!

Any comments anyone??

2010 v6 pan 4 the same. Two thoughts - perhaps programmers thought that if Lo temp selected then owner really meant full whack and thus wound the fan up too (from what I can see, the only difference between this and selecting a/c max button is that the cabin recirc is not selected in the Lo temp case). Alternatively perhaps the view was that a lower temp can only be achieved if air flow through cabin is increased and thus fan was defaulted to max.
Best bet if you want things this cold would seem to be settle for 16C and then you retain fan control and auto status. Still plenty chilly but less fan noise.

Perfectly normal I would have thought Nigel - you've demanded the lowest possible temperature and that's what the system is attempting to give you.

As Stephen says, just settle for 16 degC and let the system sort it out. Do you really need it any colder than that..! I leave mine set at 20-21 degC for a comfortable temperature all year round.
