Paradis Porsche - New event for 2017??

While holidaying in the South of France this year the owner of the hotel mentioned the Porsche Paradis event held every October in St Tropez over 3 days. This wasn't an event I was aware of so did some research and, I have to say, it looks very interesting and great fun. Organised by the Porsche Club Mediterranee they take over St Trop with around 500-600 Porsches with a track day, parades, static displays and evening events/dinners. Porsche club members from all over Europe take part but rarely are there any UK entries.[:(]
I have been in touch with the President of the PC Med (yes, they organise things a bit differently over there!) and he is very keen to get a UK contingent at the event in 2017. At this stage we are looking to gauge interest in attending the event as a 997 register but would be keen to open it up club wide. Maybe 20 cars or so?

As I see it we would look after the liaison between ourselves and PC Med but the travel arrangements and hotel bookings would be down to you as some may wish to go only for the 3 days and others for a 2 week holiday (us!)

It's not going to be cheap. There are entry fees for the event/dinners etc as well as the obvious travel and hotel costs. I have put a couple of links below for you to browse. Next year it will be 13th-15th October. In general the weather is still very pleasant with temps around 21-25C

So, as I say, just getting a feel for interest in attending. Post below if it tickles your fancy

If the support is there then I will get more details on pricing etc and take it from there.
Questions?

I think the idea is to take a car.....![;)] It would seem that just about every country in Europe has some cars there - but not us! (Until now.....)
