Parallel Universe?

Interesting to see in the club's official magazine (PP, June, page 74) a full colour report of an unofficial tour through our region ... a trip that I do not recall seeing advertised or promoted to our regular members.

I see our parallel universe is still alive and well then. [:'(]

John, (have actually just noticed this post, so sorry for not replying sooner)

without opening a can of worms,

the trip was planned by members of Irish Region but R1 was not contacted directly to be asked on the event, some of the irish region are friends with some of the members of the scottish region and they were asked along directly as it was not being posted as an official event.

I spoke to all those concerned when i found out as was told it was not an official porsche event but if anyone would like to come along they would be most welcome, this was after the posting date for the magazine and hence i did not post anything.

I for one, as you may be aware am against people organising events whithout including everyone and then posting them as club events.

I think in this instance it was genuinely some friends who were organising a personal trip and it ended up with enough of the members going along to make it something worth reporting.

regards
Scott.
