one of the definate tick boxes for me-really miss it on the kids cars-wouldve done many scrapes without it!! does it detect low kerbs-prob not very low ones but if they are high enough to get the bodywork then they will detect them
 
They are good if your not very good at parking as you cannot see the rear of the car. & I wish they were able to be put on the front too too pick up low curbs. Kevin Cayman 3.4 S Tiptronic
 
Yep. I agree with Dyllan. Rear visiblity is poor in tight spaces, e.g. you cannot even see if the spoiler is up or down, so the 4 sensors in the rear bumper are a real help especially if there are low walls or bollards that you cannot see at all. The bottom line for me was I would rather spend the money up front, once, than risk spending it over and over on repairs, to say nothing of not having the car while it is in the repair shop.
 
a very worthwhile box to tick mate i'm used to using the force when parking as my other car is a lotus elise but the cayman is worse as i've only just got it and have no idea where the back of the car ends! ninja
