Parking sensors

My rear parking sensors are making a continuous buzz instead of the intermittent sound. Has anyone had a similar problem and what is the cure?

We had the same problem last year. I seem to recall it was battery related but can't be 100% as the recall is not what it used to be![:(] Have you had problems with or changed the battery recently? Other than that I guess it could be a faulty sensor.

Had exactly the same - faulty sensor (but can't tell which one ) so changed them all, plus the unit - all fine again.

Thanks is it posible to do this job yourself. It looks that you have to remove the rear bumper. Can you recall the cost of the unit. Regards Alan

I actually got mine (colour coded) from eBay for about £20. Then my local indy fitted them for £50 - and it does involve removing the rear bumper
