Parrot i9000 - CDR23

Has anyone experienced fitting the Parrot MKi9100 to a CDR23? I basically want to connect the iPod (the parrot also comes with Bluetooth) to the head unit however I believe the most common fix is to add the Dension kit which I've been quoted at about £500/£600. The Parrot will be about £200/£300 plus fitting? Any thoughts? Thanks
