Part No for fuel filler cap anyone

The rubber retaining strap has broken on my MY 03 996. [:(]

Where can i get a replacement from ?

I don't think you can buy the rubber strap separately. It isn't listed on the PET. The complete cap is part number 996.201.241.03 (£7.31+VAT) but I don't know if it includes a strap. I looked up the cap on the 996 Turbo section of the PET, and it gives the same part number, but the description says "Fuel Tank Cap with clip", so maybe it does. I'm sure any OPC would have them in stock, so it might be worth a trip to the parts department and see if you can have a look at one. Either that, or superglue - it works great on rubber.
 
Thanks Richard. I thought about fusing the two halves together with my soldering iron. May work too
