Looking to replace my front & Rear discs and pads on my MY03 996C2 (03 Plate reg June2003)

Doea anyone know the part numbers and the best place for me to buy genuine parts at affordable prices?

Also is there a DIY post that i can use. I intend to carryout the work myself. Simple enough job on previous cars I've had

Any help would be gretly appreciated

Hi ricahrd

Found it already. Can't think why i didn't look in the tech section before i posted ! Doh !!

Must be work making my brain over work in the day

Looks straight forward enough to me

Do you think i need all the parts listed on the sheet. Pads aren't worn so i shouldn't need wear sensors ?

Hi Steve

Design 911 in Ilford were the cheapest when I bought the parts. I replaced discs, pads, anti squeal, sensors, and caliper bolts. All in about £440. I bought last year but only got to fit them a couple of weeks ago. It was 2.5 hours with a lot of tea, sandwiches and gassing in between. The tools I used were a hex key, wooden mallet, long nose pliers, phillips screwdriver and a 2.5 ton jack. You will also need some bricks/wood blocks to chock the front wheels, you can only take the rear discs off with the handbrake off. It's straight forward and if you've done other cars before it should pose no problems!

Where are you based? Happy to help if you're close to Hornchurch, Essex. You can PM and I'll pass on my mobile.
