Part number help for Hardtop Mounts 997.1

Hi there,

First post on 997 arena so be gentle please!!

Having sold my 996 I have just put a deposit down with Cameron Sports Cars near Bath. Anyone ever dealt with them. Feedback would be appreciated.

Anyway the car is 997.1 2006 Cab. I have read that you can fit hardtop mounts onto the car (as they did not come standard with Hardtops)

Has anyway here had any experience of this in the UK. I know that the 996 hardtop will fit also.

I also need to know the part numbers for cost.

I have a 997 cab and recently bought a 996 hardtop.Iit was difficult to obtain old style reciever mounts from OPC, so went direct To Suncoast in the usa and bought both mounts and updated screw in locks as a set for 394 us dollars including clearance and duties, they arrived one week after ordering. You could try ordering and not tick duty paid, you might get away with it. Suncoasts price for original porsche parts is less than OPC charge for old style reciever mounts.

I ended up ordering 997 mounts from OPC. I have found a 997 roof cheap hence went for 997 mounts.
