That is the correct part number if anyone needs to know.

I am going to fit the new one on the weekend. I am doing a major service on my 964 c2 at the moment and things are going well.

A bit of advice for everyone is to check the gearbox oil. I looked at my service history and cant find any record of the transmission fluid being replaced. I noticed on my gearbox that the output shaft seal was also leaking on the passenger side of the gearbox (RHD) was covered in oil. Car had 24000 mile service 18 months ago and only 2000 miles and no mention of it by OPC! The seal was an easy replacement and only took 20-30 mins I removed the diff cover plate to get the seal out. (I already had it jacked up and oil removed). To fill the oil up i used a pump (from machine mart)and about 4 liters of swepco 201.This made life easy.
I have also noticed that the bush on the selector rod support bar is passed it so this is also being replaced as well as fuel pump cover plate, shocks/springs, front wishbones, o ring on pressure sender, engine oil change and filter.Fit my Refurbed genuine cup 1s.

Got mobil 1 from costco this week 4 liters 23.99 which I thought was a bargin.

blistein hd shocks+h&r springs are being fitted.

I got them from shox.com

$999+$169 shipping

Good price I thought, I am fitting myself and as I said changing the wishbones due to very slight cracks in the bushes (I have a spare set!). I will roughly set the ride height and then take it to be set up properly at a specialist.

hope this helps
